In order to get into the foam you have to take off the pads first. This is how to take it off: http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_e...e/HD570_bda.pdf scroll to the last page Once it is off, I believe you could easily lift up the foam. Sorry I cant give you the exact answer since I never have hd570 so it is better for you to double check with other member about this This is another link that might help you to wash the pads. it is for hd650 but im quite sure it works for your cans: http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread....&highlight=wash

That can be changed with other material such as pantyhose. Have a look here: http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=144037 You should be able to wash this, although i dont really know how but Im sure it should be the same as washing the pads for dt880 as instructed in other thread.

This is another reason why people should get this amp since the new one will be twice more expensive and this is a well known amp for high impendance cans
