  1. i would suggest the grado sr60 for your kind of music. i have tried px200 and k26p but sr60 still wins over sound quality (this is subjective, of course!). i would consider bringing it ard with me but it cant fit into the headphone jack of my pda. But the sr60 is open and you can hear your surroundings when you're listening to it. However there's some isolation from ambient sound in the px200/k26p but still not that good as those iems.
  2. will deal on monday! thx to all those who enquired.
  3. I bought the adaptor just now but it's actually the same adaptor that comes with my headphone. Selling it here for $25.
  4. I bought the Grado Mini Adapter just now thinking it would solve my prob with my pda (pls refer to http://www.sgheadphones.net/index.php?showtopic=4311&st=15). But it's actually the same adaptor that comes with my headphone. Selling it for $25. Pls sms at 93896545 if you're interested. Prefer to deal in town or Novena mrt. Thx!
  5. ahh..ok. didnt' know it's called the headphone mini adapter. thx!
  6. i'm enjoying my grado right now with the music of coldplay, muse and creed in the office. would love to try it on my pda but apparently the earphone socket of my grado can't fit into the earphone jack (grado is tooo big ). the earphone jack of my zod (yes, that's the name of my pda) is placed at the bottom right curve of the zod. is there any extension plug which i can purchase? zod info > http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_pr...=reviews&id=482 picture of the earphone jack (see at the bottom right of the pda) > http://www.pocketnow.com/html/portal/revie.../review/box.jpg close up picture of the earphones that was supplied with the unit (notice the earphone has a special plug shape> http://www.pocketnow.com/html/portal/revie...ew/earphone.jpg btw...i'm not selling the zod.
  7. Finally got my grado sr60 during lunch time just now after trying it out. So far so good...no discomfort with the headphone and love the design + the sound quality *of course, what do i know...i'm juz a noob*. now that i'm in here already, i'm afraid for my wallet.
  8. hi squalle...my fault for not stating what the headphones are for in my prev posts... will be using the headphones @ office/home. buying iems for travel use.
  9. so many choices... ive narrowed down to: akg k26p OR senn hd497 OR grado sr60 interested in ultrasone 650 but they're more than $200 rite? i'm still doing research for earphones.
  10. hansel_ng, I'll probably consider in-ear-monitors as well for portable use. and headphones for use at the office/home for listening to mp3s, and watching dvds.
  11. i read the reviews....grado s80 is out cos i intend to use the headphones while on the train/bus and mostly in the office. most important factor would be noise isolation because i'm wearing a scarf over my head, and the volume would be turned on a bit louder than normal. wouldnt' want the commuters to throw me weird glances. would stretch my budget for a bit for better headphones.
  12. thx for the recommendation! i would prefer normal headphones than those clipons ones...and buying them more for portable use... i'm looking at the reviews now...and leaning towards the audio technica es5/7, grado s80 and akg k26p. gosh..its so hard to choose headphones.
  13. Hi! I'm a noob in this headphone stuffs. I've been using some altec-lansing to listen to my mp3. recently i was fascinated by my friend's new headphone...he bought this ultrasone model and let me hear this and i was like wow! i want one toooo! so i searched and found this forum. i hope to get a decent headphone at a budget of $150...either new or 2nd hand one. I need something which is portable and light and possibly look good too..*a lady user here* Thx in advance!
