So must be decisive lor...Actually I have been having the urge to go into LP, but was hesitant as I didn't know where to start. Hi, just got my Denon DP-300F. Have been enjoying the music. Any advice where we can find some LPs at good price (new and used)? I listen mostly to classical. And what would be a resonable price to pay for them (new and used)? THanks.

Thanks alot for the advice. I guess, I will seriously consider the Denon like what Kachui has. For me I am more into music than equipment. But having said that, can someone advise me what is the difference between lower end and higher end TT system? Is it same as what we have in our CD-based audio system where we compare about Transparency, Musicality, Sound-staging, etc etc...? Or are there different set of "criteria"? Thanks. Think I will go for the Denon to get familiarised first. For me, think it's better to save and spend money more on software than hardware. Thanks for the info. I have been considering to go experience LP but was hesitant because of the setup and maintenance etc. But it seems this model is a good place to start. How did you decide on this? Beside this model, was there any other brand/model that provide equal convenience?

I see. Personally I have not tried the Qi-cones. But in the past I have tried other wood-based cones (forgot their names though, think no longer in the market) and found that DH Cones sounded more preferred in my system. Just to share.

I went to Daison last week but could not find anything suitable. Moreover I was intending to get something that can make use of my (Senn) headphone hanger. Oh the stand which I got from Art Friend, the angle is adjustable and it is very stable.

Hahaha...well ok I would say not itchy enough to have any urge to upgrade. Reason is I guess, I have not, or have been able to so far, to control myself not to try on and compare any supposedly better headphones (poison). I am so far quite happy with my AD700, and then it occured to me say if I spend on something more ex (e.g. AD900), how much more could I get? And I am of course very conscious of getting poisoned. So without actually listening and get poisoned, at this stage I am trying to hear some input from more experienced bros here. Hi bro ito, have you considered using DH Cones? It is ceramic material and in the past, the dealer of Diva amp (Soul of Music) at Adelphi actually used DH Cones for all the Diva gears. At that time, Richard (the dealer boss) demo to me with and without the cones and the difference was immediately discernable.

Hi, hope to seek some advice here. I am now using ATH-AD700 and I actually decided on this after trying it out comparing Grado SR-60 and MS-1 at Stereo. WIth the Grado, I preferred the sound of MS-1 as I found it less forward and more balance than the SR-60. Then I was recommended to consider AD-700 and I liked it immediately as I found it has a more balance sound and better dynamic range. In the end I paid more than what I had planned for (the Grado) and went for the AD-700. Not that I have the itch to upgrade now (I only bought the AD-700 few months ago), but just wonder, if I want to have better performance, how much more I should plan to spend in order to get reasonable upgrade in sound? Considering that I like the sound character of AD-700, and I listen mostly to classical music, using Marantz CD6002 as source and Cayin HA-1A to drive. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi all, Just improvised my headphone holder with a rack (cos my study desk cannot accommodate the original clamp of the holder). Not the best VFM solution but just to make good use of what I already have.
