  1. PX200 is a closed can while PX100 is an open can. If you want to use it outdoor, get the PX200. But one thing is the sound quality of px100 is way better than that of the Px200. More punchy bass and smoother treble. i used to own them but my px200 just broke down recently but it doesnt matter to me anymore cause IEMs are the IN THING now!

  2. Rachmaninov's piano concerto are very nice too!

This EMI recording by leif ove andsnes is pretty good. it has both concerto no.1 and no.2(which is my favourite)

Lang Lang also has a recording under DG label which has piano concerto no.2 and rhapsody on a theme of paganini. Lang Lang's interpretation is a bit more energetic at times.

    which 1 would u recommand then?>

i wouldnt recommend them. i bought a senn cx300 OEM for 30 bucks but it doesnt sound close to the real senn cx300. maybe you can ask the person to let you try it out b4 buying.

  4. Hi all!

I'm thinking of upgrading to true IEM this holiday (probably cos i'm sick of using my px200 and E630 on the go). However, i'm not sure i'll feel comfortable regarding the use of IEMs. Guess I'll have to go over to Jaben or Stereo to try it out. My budget is ard 150 (trying to save money :ppth: ). Currently have super.fi 3 and westone um1 in mind. I listen mostly to classical music and most pop songs. Experts here give your advice!!

also will it be cheaper if buy online and ship it over?

  5. Need some expert advice here.

I am thinking of getting either the senn px200 or audio tech ck7. I listen mostly to classical, new age and pop music. A bit of rock too. Any recommendations as to which one should I get? Can recommend other phones around this price range too.

  6. heyya. sorry. thanks for all the advice. i'm talking about ck7. guess i was too tired when i posted this thread. haha. anyway, i've tried the px200, it really sounded quite dark and less bright. guess i will have to audition the ck7. what about senn cx300? i'm currently using creative zen. I also have a sony D-EJ985 discman. my budget is below 150

  7. need some expert help from you guys here! i am looking for a headphone/in-ear that is very detailed and clarity is key. I listen to mostly orchestral and band music and I want something that has nice treble i.e. can hear the violins and cymbal crash are very detailed and crisp(sorry my audio vocab is not that 'powderful' biggrin.gif ). Preferably something that is portable.

    Thanks in advance!!

Sorry for the error in previous post. Topic should be ck7 and not 5. biggrin.gif
