  3. Haha... you are NO BETTER ! Call me just to poison me This forum getting dangerous, visit and read enough, then suddenly before you even know it, you've bought some new toy! Beware beware....
  4. Wood la. http://www.headphonereviews.org/headphone....headphoneId=228 No lah, not new. had it for almost 1 year liao.
  5. I already am.... with my Stax 4070
  6. Wah, you have so many "woods" now.
  7. Don't think can make it too, wish I could but moving house, loads of sh*t to pack up Perhaps, should organise one more down the road around June. Think by then all those who are getting the HD800s and PS1000s should have warmed up the units If there's another one, I could bring my Stax stuff if anyone cares to have a listen.
  8. Maybe can change the connector with one that's stereo. But I think SLS 3rd floor got a shop selling the stereo version. Located next to the printer supply shop "Atlantic Supplies" or something like that, on the side of the Sony Gallery.
  9. Now, all you need is one of these to make it complete ...
  10. Yes it is and available at Audio Note.
  11. It's a Particular "Optimus" rack avail at Music By Design. Price ard $1400? Can't remember exactly. http://www.particular.com/products/optimus/index.html This rack has a load limited as the shelves are held up by 3 screws driven against the 3 poles each. So if you overload it can come crashing down. The recommended weight was no more than 50pounds. But I've seen others putting more than that on but it's a risk you'll have to bear.
  12. Welcome anytime.... but it has to be soon cos' maybe moving and speakers may get cold storaged.
  13. Wah... dun say until like that. After listening to your system, really felt that mine was lacking. Scratch head about what to do to improve. I'M the one who's trying to reach YOUR level.... hopefully at a much lower cost Yup, was really tempted to get the RR-77 & Kingrex PSU but need to garner funds for it.... by the way, was trying to locate that Mitsuru Araya album we were listen to at your place, couldn't find it at Roxy. What's the title of the album you were recommending? think it had a white cover?
  14. Sell 1 or 2 of your power cords can liao lah If not, I can help relieve you of the AR RR-77 at a "reasonable" price
  15. Most likely, but not yet. Need to get some 5Mohm resistors 1st. These resistors damn hard to find leh, go SLT look high look low also bo.
  16. Thought you know? AKG & the Beyer loh Wish my wife felt the same...
  17. Heehee... no lah... cannot justify having 2 different setups. Would do my headphones any justice, how to spend time on both types? Already too many electrostats as it is, gotta let some go....... someday. But to be honest I do have 2 dynamic headphones which aren't getting much time.
  18. Oops, missed your question. Well, been rather busy lately so didn't get too much time with it on the BH. But its definitely different compared to the O2. Not too good at impressions though I know I like what I hear. You could say it's similar in signature to Sennheisers. But the sound staging is definitely behind the O2. Nonetheless, its truly sweet.... you're welcome to have a listen if you wish. Hopefully, by then I'd have diy'ed an adapter for...... ... my HE60
  19. Me? A good amp. which will open up avenues for ... many... many... many headphones down the road. Which could be bad/good depending on how you see it. But of course mine's pretty much stuck in one lane...... electrostats If i were to go dynamic, I would definitely get a good tube amp, preferably one that has both balanced and unbalanced hp outputs, so I can tweak/swap the tubes to match the headphones but of course this amp would not be cheap.
  20. Yes! That's what's gonna happen.... so go ahead..... AND GET IT BEFORE YOU REALLY REGRET IT YEARS DOWN THE ROAD!! No need to feel guilty cos' all you need do is THINK of it as an INVESTMENT! And best of all is you really decide to sell it later on.... you'll be rolling in CASH So go on... you know its the RIGHT thing to do.
  21. Its just for illustration only lah
