  1. What do you people think about connecting the output of an audio interface into say, a headphone amp? Would the quality be comparable to that of external soundcards, or say, even dedicated DACs like Fubar or the like? I have a M-Audio Quattro (USB audio interface) which I'm trying to sell (see classifieds section) as I'm intending to upgrade, and I've got a Little Dot 2+ coming in through the recent MO. I'm looking for ideas as to how to go about setting up a decent rig that wouldn't empty my wallet. For one, I'm considering connecting the output directly from the audio interface into the amp, that is preferred as I wouldn't have to spend further on more equipments. Any suggestions?
  2. Pristine condition, in perfect working condition with no noticeable comestic flaws. Sold. Thanks for your interest.
  3. Bump. And also willing to reduce price if buyer is able to deal quickly.
  4. Looking for $230 neg. Discontinued product which makes driver support a little of a pain but otherwise a tried and tested audio interface which wouldn't fail you. Product comes with full packaging, which includes the box, manual, driver, etc. Used at home only with normal wear and tear.
  5. Well, not exactly brand new. You see, recently, the cable of my E2C started giving some problems (crackling in the left channel) and I had to send them in. Apparently they claimed that the crackling was because of the faint cracks along the plastic earphone chassis (which obviously isn't, as I was able to intentionally create the crackling sound just by bending the cable around), and offered to replace it with a brand new one. So hey, who's to complain. I just received the E2C today and have not used it since. Anyway, long story aside, I purchased this from Hung Bros in February this year for $170. I'm looking to sell this for $140. Price is negotiable if you are able to meet up at my location of preference. Also, the mid sized silicon sleeves are not included, because they are used, and you know, it isn't very hygienic then. 6. Ya. Same here. The nearest MRT station for me would be Eunos.

  8. I bought my pair of Shure E2Cs a couple of months back from Hung Brothers. It has served me well over that relatively short period of time and I must say that I'm satisfied with it. However, the cable has apparently developed some issues. Whenever I move the cable and it bends at certain angles at a specific point on the cable, the left channel drops out. I tried with various sources and yes, I can confirm that the problem lies sole with the E2Cs as I'm also able to repeat the problem by finding that "sweet spot". There are also no observable damage on the exterior of the cable aside from the kinks which formed from the coiling of the cable. I'm intending to get it sorted out as it is well within the warranty period. My question being that, where do I go to return the product? Is there a specific Shure retailer here in SG that I can go to, or do I have to go through the hassle of shipping it and all that jazz.
  9. Hey guys, Just thought I should give it a mention. I'm having a little trouble with the money transfer here as I don't have a POSB account of my own (poor student here ). But fret not, I'll transfer the money within the next 2 days (got to use my sister's account ). My apologies anyway. And thanks clemo and haxyer for putting this together, I'm sure we all appreciate it.
  10. Ah, too enticing to resist. An order for a Black LDM+ (Normal gain) here.
