  1. omg,i can't access that site, can you please PM me with the contents?thanks. sian i have tried the method you told me.still the same. guess i would have to use itunes to convert all my files to .aac and see how.
  2. http://forums.appleinsider.com/showthread.php?t=69206
  3. i think 5g has it also leh provided you update your itunes and firmware whatever it has to do with your ipod.
  4. mmmm seriously,i never thought of this question.. let me wait and see..
  5. but did it work out for your ipod 5g?
  6. when it comes to transfering songs to DAP,seriously, ipod sucks in it. i still prefer my creative zen vision M. i bought this 5.5g ipod because i am attracted to it's gapless playback & longer batt life features. but you confirm after ticking 'part of gapless album',and after updating the ipod, you sure there will be gapless playback???
  7. won't be the same one lah. i have read up reviews before i ordered 2X-S. how could one just spend money blindly without reading up,on the jeopardy of 'no money back guaranteed'.
  8. boh liao?you can't use that word to describe ES2 owners example, you have been thinking whether to get ES2/ES1 and UE universal models. why not straightaway consider the king UE10pro or UE7pro?no pun intended. but it's money we are talking, hard earned one that is. ES3 is not purely for listening,as for UE7/10pro,it's even harder for me to reach based on it's price tag. though i wanted to get ue10pro,was hold back after i read the reviews on 2X-S better performing than ue10pro.
  9. the 'crossfade playback' is only apply for itunes right?it does not apply for the ipod player itself. the thing is,i have transfered all the songs to the player, and now if i do what you said ,check the 'part of gapless album' that is,i still have to spend alot of time 'updating the ipod'?
  10. peeps, any idea how to 'activate' the gapless playback on ipod 5.5G? is it on by default? i have transfered the songs to my DAP.but sad to say, there's no gapless playback. regards.
  11. me ah.. as long as i set my eyes on something, mostly i will get it in the end of course must have the money lah. ES2 caused a huge damage when i paid for it.had a hard time surviving. (i don't earn much, neither do i save) but i must clarify that i am not an audiophile, only someone whom likes to hang around with his mp3 player for long hours everyday. for now since i own a pair of ES2,i don't fancy universal monitors because custom is always the best.comfort, isolation, sound, you name it. of course not price lah!! but i think that i could foresee once i get my hands on 2X-S,that would be another solid reason that i won't go back to universal monitors anymore unless.... unless you can find some universal model which is superior to custom made.
  12. i used to listen a pair of ibuds till i one shot upgraded to Westone UM2. then couple of months later, one shot upgraded to Westone ES2. total damage: roughly near to 1.4k
  13. if you are considering custom, have you read up reviews for those custom models? as far as i know, the cream of the crops; UE10pro,Westone ES2 & Sensa 2X-S. Westone ES2 is the cheapest, followed by Sensa. among these 3,Sensa receives alot of good comments. some even said that it is better than UE10pro.
  14. $1332? Sensaphonics Prophonic 2X-S is for you.
  15. try auditioning OVC T20,read up the reviews for it. the cheapest IEM.if you want more comfort & better sound quality, go and make a custom mold for it.total damage around SGD250.
  16. hmm,i think so far for now, only UE10pro has this purpose?
  17. eh why did you voted for Westone ES1 then?you have tried it?you own it? LOL.
  18. yah. switch to an IEM which has a low impedence.
  19. bahkuteh! ah bahkuteh!, you are really stupid to buy Bose IEM rather than those 'cream of the crops' branded IEMs. nuff said. aiya, the most i clean my ears once every few days lor. by the way, what does 'wax filter' do?
  20. you mean the Sensaphonics 3D? after conversion, you have to pay at least almost SGD4k for the dual drivers this reply is from Heather Bentley; The 3D Active Ambient System has ambient microphones built into the ear pieces and requires the 3D belt pack. The belt pack controls the level of the ambient sound. They are both made from a soft silicon material. The 3D Active Ambient is $2000 for the single driver and $2500 for the dual driver plus the audiologist fees and shipping. -- Please let me know if you have any other questions. 21. if i have the money,i would consider getting Sensaphonics 3D Ambient System. they claimed that the dual drivers offer 12dB of isolation more than 2X-S which is 37dB. (while single driver 6dB more) i guess, such monitor is used for on stage perfermance.but i am curious how does it sound compare to the top notches of IEM since it's a 3D. http://www.sensaphonics.com/downloads/live_sound2007.pdf
  22. 1.2k? that's like after some rebate if there is any.
  23. price ah,USD100 more than ES2.excluding ear impression & shipping.
  24. for customs, people normally talk about ES2,UE10pro,2X-S,and sometimes ES3. cream of the crops.
