haha. yup, was just kinda amused over loop_'s comment. seriously, i'll be extremely upset and pissed if my amp destroyed my favourite AKG headphones (if i had one). probably chuck it across the room at that point of time if i'm dam pissed. lol. but no worries eh? guess AKG will fix it back it no time, and your wonderful music will be back by your side.

LOL, just kidding. guess not many people know about it, but for this kind of stuff, you may be able to google it, or just give SE or Jaben a call and ask. it's much faster and more efficient this way for information that the most of the public dont know or are unsure of.

it'll be easier if you state your budget, or at least a range, then can check out the amps at that exact price range. yup.

haha. but i kind of prefer their products compared to apple. the battery life is better than apple's, and in terms of sound, i've only tried it headphone out, and i preferred creative sound to apple.

haha. it's good for people looking for a budget DAP. cant really see a way it can lose to apple except for brand name and maybe design. so far, i've had a few creative products, and they seem quite sturdy to me. not spoilt very easily, but for some products, they scratch real easily.

yup. seem that the hype kinda died out and stuff. not much news about it still. if it provides a cheaper alternative to the Imod and provides sound which is good enough, there'll be stiff competition!!! lol.

hmmm.. but superfi5EB seems to be only good after burn-in (that's what i heard), yup, so dont cast your impressions of it too soon, maybe you have to try a burned-in one.

and it have an interface now! wow, this is really big time competition against the ipod shuffle. the zen stone seem to be better is most (if not, every) aspects.

wow. that's really cool technology. wonder there's any sound isolation on them? and wonder how do they sound, any different from IEMs or cans... lol. interesting.....

is the physical size just like the zen stone?

given their price range, maybe a comparison with the mylars?

hmmm... maybe you can go a bit above your budget? for portable use, IEMs will be better. maybe the super.fi3, um1 or something. but if you want something much cheaper, but no compromise of the SQ, i think mylar 2 and 3 will do the trick. the mylars are really good given their price, so much that i think they're better than some 100+ IEMs ( no offence here, it's subjective). to me, the mylars are really the little devils that you wont regret. if they're above your budget and you dont wanna spend over it, consider the classifieds, they're pretty good.

when i listen to my k81dj with my DAP, only the left side has sound, but the right side has no sound. after slowing adjusting the thing above the jack ( the thing which is like circular and have a few layers), then the two sides have sound. however when i used my ep-630, it works perfectly fine, so i guess it's my headphones that is spoilt. i bought it earlier at SE around the mid-year. any idea how do i get it serviced?

i think you should buy it from jaben itself. i believe uncle wilson will quote you a good reasonable price. buying it overseas is quite complicated. if the earphones have any problem, you'll have to send it back to the country to service it, so buying it locally is much better. for good pricing, check out SE or jaben. there should be other eartips to go with the earphones, as most IEMs can use eartips of other brands. (not very sure, i dont use IEMs) as for the sound, it really depends on the person using it, the for the amp, you can also check it out at jaben. but best if you can quote a budget first.
