Been out of the scene for sometime and had the urge to purchase a portable headphone for usage. Visited stereo about 4 times before confirming my purchase yesterday. Same good service that I experience 4 years ago with my first headphone being ms1.

I usually test the above average headphones, with this round the IEMs westone UM3X, Westone 3, ESW9, ES10, ESW10JPN and A1000x. Settled for the ESW10JPN and loving it, both the sound and service. This headphone marks the 6th headphone i gotten from stereo and still love their service.

Just tried the HFI 780 Mod just. Definitely much better when modded. Must really bring my RS1 down with my cd to the shop to do a real comparison. Does make me contemplate to get it for its closed design. Never used a close headphone for sometime and looks promising for a portable headphone.

Interesting lol. Been awhile since I visited SGHeadphones. Now I seen some interesting stuff. This evening maybe I will head down to test it out. Always wanted a closed headphone for traveling around that can best those of IEM (RS1 lets in too much noise) and not worried it get damaged easily.

Just saw then at SE. Outdated this days lol. Maybe will go down one day and audition this earphones.

250 probably can get a ATH-A700. I pretty good close headphone. Open wise theres quite some good one like grado, beyers, ATH-AD, Siens HD lower series.

I doubt logitech will mess with UE both in hardware and branding. People in this hobby recognizes UE as a trustable IEM as such logitech rather then changing the name or logo, will leverage on that and pump in money to get better earphones for sale. With this they can also defunct their earphones line or merge it into UE lol.

Selling a under utilize Sienhiesser HD600. Condition is 9.5/10. Bought from stereo 11/4/2008 as a backup for my failing AKG701. Got it repaired since and purchased a RS1 as such its usage is very limited. Burn in of over 200 hours has been done.

Do not pm or sms me to lower my price. Its very new and is still being covered by Sienhiesser 2 Years warranty. Once item is sold it cannot be refunded. Package comes with everything as purchased. Will include a 3m stereo extension cable on request. The item is almost like new with box package and receipt. Will not entertain anyone that do not intend to pay the selling price. Burn in can be counted more like a service then usage. I dont listen much during burn in and reckon I use the headphone for less then 100 hour.

Can try audio technica AT-HA20. Desktop Amp with a pretty small dimension and 2 stereo out puts. Not too bright and has a base hump it seems. Its not a extremely good amp but for about 200, its better then most portable amps.

I will recommand the ER4P if you do not mind lesser base when compared to most others out there. At your price range quite some IEM to test out.

Yeah headphones tend to mellow down after some time. For me I run my headphone for 24 hrs over a few days and usually they become better after that. As what stereo said, ripping better quality will also help. Using amplifier will also help but do note some do actually make them even brighter so take note on what you choose.

Sound is very subjective. What sound crap to people may sound good to you lol. Best if you can get a set to tryout though.
