You notice the storage capacity but you don't notice the size difference?
Hmm, sorry, I've overlooked it.

the above link doesn't seem to work for me, anyway, lowyat.net is a forum based in Malaysia AFAIK

the price for the iPod 2g 8GB can get a 30GB real iPod leh.. all $428, don't know why their pricing that way

I have my CDs all ripped in ALAC format so if I go for the iPod shuffle that would be a real hassle to manage eh? With little songs to enjoy. I just need something small like the iPod shuffle to carry around with 192 kbps AAC encoding options. Sigh, think I give it a pass, don't want to re-rip my albums again. <_>

arr... so tempting.. which is more value for money, ipod shuffle or the new ipod nano?

Looking at the classified, the new iaudio 6 retails at $384?

AFAIK, Westone sells replacement cable for ES2 in 4 different colors, clear (default), brown, black and beige. I wonder if there's any other colors available for ES2 cable?

Jaben is located at adelphi #04-16 (opposite Funan), alternatively, can try Hung Brothers at sim lim square and look for Douglas or Adam Hung, they are the most friendly guys over there.

I opt for a black cable, it looks cool

Go for the OPPO DV970HD, it's well within your budget and a all-in-one universal player. Go for a listen at X Audio at bukit timah plaza and only then you can decide for yourself.
Another budget audiophile sound quality to look for, the Marantz CD5001 is also an ideal CD player to upgrade your system, which costs slightly above your budget at $350. Can audition at KEC (first floor at adelphi) and they are nice and friendly people, audition welcomed and deal with confidence.
Or pick up a used NAD CDP at echoloft. Good luck!

You can look for a used Earmax pro over at head-fi, FYI:

I have not heard the Lehmann BCL but from what I've read about it, it has better synergy with Senn and audio technica rather than grado or alessandro. Audio Notes at singapore is the dealer of Lehmann BCL. You may want to audition them with your MS-Pro and report the result back here
