According to reports, it'll take weeks for them to recover...so it'll be back to the past of 56k speeds( well not that slow..maybe 256)

Guess the only people affected are those using Singnet ( for about a day or so)

I'm currently using the xenos REP with my UM1...must say it sounds quite good. For a source, i would recommend iAudio, sounds pretty solid

ever thought of considering ear buds ones? they provide quite a bit of isolation w/o messing up your hair, and wearing them is quite simple

using the line out allows you to use your ipod longer as it does not drain as fast due to the fact that the volume control is over at the amp. Would definitely love to hear the diff btwn the zen line out and the ipod line out

must say that the cresendo-i that i got really makes a difference from the usual jack. The sound is way clearer( after amping it that is). But the price is kinda steep for something that small

looks very similiar to the 2gen nano..just that the click wheel somewhat gives it away..

It would be better to get a modem and router separately firstly, with the ever changing broadband plans, you would have to upgrade to a ADSL2+ modems to keep up. Also if 1 component breaks down, at least you still can use the internet( that's if the router breaks down). Also combo components have a higher chance of spoiling( no idea why, but my gateway died faster than my router and modem)
My experience with a gateway(WAG54G) was that it kept dc-ing.
A gateway is good for
1. port forwarding
2. centralised management
3. remote desktop access
