My friend enquired about getting an ear mould done in sg for his er-9 earplugs with etymotic but was told that there was no known audiologist in sg. So i guess no luck for us here in sg?

After reading up, looks like i wont be able to borrow the lenses afterall. My cam doesnt support mirror lock up for picture taking, only ccd cleaning. What a waste.

Anyway Firefox, im done with ns so i dont know what my yearly allowance would be with the upgraded pay and all. Plus, half of my allowance is gone into my monthly payment for my cam!

 

Prime lens = No zoom.

Prime lens + legs = Zoom.

Not quiet true, the prespective changes and if you are shooting humans/animals they react differently to a camera 10 feet away or 5 feet away.

Another solution?... More primes at different lengths!

I've read sum very great things about the 10mm OP fisheye lenses. It was originally designed with no light falloff in mind but it created sum very irregular distortion. Is that yours...and can i borrow?

Aah.. the age old Zoom vs Primes debate. I will say that each have their place so im a neutral party to this.

ER-20 can be brought at Hung Brothers can't recall price I paid.

 

ER-20 only can attenuation about 10 dB of the sound so can't be use for firing ranges.

Erm, would any of you know about the ER-9 as well? Seems like u need to get an audiologist to get an impression mould of your ears. Any other places besides Hung Bro's to get the ER-20 and ER-9? Im a little reluctant to go to Hung Bro's because of the 'reputation' if u get what i mean.

Personally, im still using the army issue earplugs but my friends seem pretty set on the etys.

Quite useful as i had everything i needed to make one just didnt have the know how. Quite useful and the printout was quite good. Hope it works out for somebody here!
