All,
For order of the panels, we will start another group buy later.
For any orders of components from Digikey or Mouser. It is quite difficult to organise this as some people will prefer some components over others. What I will do will be to place what I will order for myself, in another group buy and if you want exactly the same set of components, you can participate. How's that? Otherwise, my head will spin at the possible combinations.

ok guys. just a suggestion.
unless you guys are going to have one person buy all the components together and then split them. its more convenient to buy all the components yourself from farnell together with the enclosure, thats because if your order is over $30 shipping is waived. unless you wanna save $2 bucks and go through the hassle.
Agree and I don't mind to order all the components + enclosure from farnell and split but I need help on getting the complete BOM. Really have no time to check and compile the BOM myself.
Also mouz already mentioned that there are parts that you need to order in qty of 10 and it's a waste of money for those who may not need the parts in the near future. Although some parts are not expensive even in qty of 10...well we still have time until mouz order the pcb

No point ordering the enclosure if I can't get the PCB man, so far only 2 of us has placed orders in the group buy. Still waiting for the other interested parties to place orders. Prob gonna let it run til Monday, if it's just the 2 of us, u still interested in getting the PCB?

like what mouz said, he will not be providing the full kit as it is too messy.
faceplate i bought from AMB himself. the current face plates are selling at 40USD i bought at 20USD so that was ok for me.
I can organise the group buy for enclosure. Will create a new thread to check how many interested. I'll try to find out which vendor offer more discount if we buy more.

Tentatively, it's just USD12 for the PCB but I'm considering adding stuff not easily available from farnell and RS like PCM2707PJT and WM8501, need to look at the BOM again and let you guys know again. If just this 3, price will be USD21.30 without shipping. Depending on the weight of the shipping, cost varies, AMB uses USPS. If package stays below 1 pound, its USD23/pound for shipping.
Considering how volatile the currency rate is, cost will vary quite a bit too.

how about using vpost? Base charge is abt S$13+ plus shipping fees by weight minimum S$4+. amb will ship to vpost address at less than US$10 so add up still slightly cheaper. IF..la...If you are shipping other stuff from USA, the combined costs may be cheaper.
I do online purchase from time to time and if the timing of this order coincide with my purchase, I may be able to help with the order and vpost shipment.

Anything that's open will leak like a b*tch. Other than ANC7 you can also try the Goldring NS1000, sounds much more warmer & mellow than the ANC7.
