  1. hmmz..at $129 it does sound quite attractive thanks for the recommendations! ill try dig up some cash and go check it out =) dun mind if i sidetrack a little but.. do IEMs need portable amps? will it make a diff? heh..i'm still trying to learn more..haha.. quite new to the audiophile scene..

  3. i jus saw some good buys for classical cds at HMW heereen branch. they are at the "CDs from $9.95" section at level one. u can start out there. wanted to get one or two, but running low on cash =p
  4. hmmmz... any comments or opinions on the Xenos? which model do u have? price?
  5. well.. you can check out the bigger shops like That CD Shop, or HMV, Gramophone, etc.. if u are lucky, u can find those china-made cds at cheaper prices. or u can get a compliation cd, which has more popular songs. any particular composer/genre/singer in mind? if u are a beginner listener, i would recomend u get a compliation cd, as u are more likely to find sth u might like.

  7. hmmz.. was thinking that my fren would prefer sth to bring outdoors, rather that at home..that's why i could only think of the smallers headphones.. has anyone used the igrado before? or the pmx200? heard alot abt the px200..
  8. haha..wow.. read up the review.. thanks load loop. hmmz.. guess the scandal regarding the headphonia is quite shocking.. i'm not sure if i wanna get it...but will think abt it. hmmz..how abt the ibasso p1? seems that it's quite value for money..and seems the best in it's price range. am i able to get these amps thru a local dealer? or do i have to order online?
  9. hey pple... are there any choral listeners/singers/fanatics out there? haha. would like to hear some input on choral music =) lets try raise awareness and appreciation for a less popular genre the king's singers are fantastic. the singapore philharmonic choir are great too. =) any other inputs greatly welcome
  10. hey rayshaw.. glad to hear another listener interested in classical. it's kinda hard to find good classical music realli. it isn't that popular and readily available these days. but just to recommend a few titles you might like : Air on a G string by JS Bach (String Quartet) Fugue in G minor by JS Bach (Organ) Waltz in C Sharp Minor by Frederic Chopin (Piano) Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin (piano) Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven (Piano) Allegro, from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart (String Ensemble) Nocturne in E Flat Major by Chopin (Piano) hope you like these..several of my personal favs =) hope these wonderful pieces can attract more classical listeners too

  12. hi all.. was thinking of getting a pair of headphones for a fren =) any comments on the px200 as compared to the pmx200 and the igrados? could find some info on the senns, but not the igrados. wat do you all think?
  13. hmmz..well.. i was thinking along the lines of sth small and hopefully portable, to plug up to either my zen micro(maybe a future ipod nano ), maybe my laptop. i listen to quite a wide range of music, from choral to rock to classical. haha. does this help my cause? budget wise...well. i'm not sure wat's the entry-level cost.. can anyone enlighten mi? from wat i read..it's around $100 to $200?

  17. hmmz..any opinions on the PMX200 or the PX200? read some reviews that the PX200 isn't exactly furz choice for most pple.. and can't realli find any comments on the PMX200. how abt the AKG 26P? any views on that? trying to find one that is roughly the size of the above 3.. the HD25-1 and 280 are kinda bulky for commute and portability purposes dun u think?
  18. hi all... been searching up and down this forum for past few days.. can't seem to find any recent topics that suit wat i'm looking for. basically i'm looking for a set of headphones, for use wif my mp3 player, and sometimes laptop. preferably closed type kind? had an old pair of in-ear ones...thinking of trying out a closed type headphones now. =) budget is around 200 or so. hope some kind soul can help mi out here.
