  1. Hi all, since 2007, tried a few bluetooth headsets...so now hunting for one more... is nokia bh-905i good? from online, the reviews for it is good. i meant good in terms of bluetooth on music and microphone. anyone tried here? or is nokia too consumer to try?
  2. Hi all, I have bought Philips SHS8200 and Creative CB2500 BT adapter and transmitter. Phlips shs8200 seems ok and quite compact. the bass and treble is not that good as I hear better ones but is still fine with me. Gold plated standards are there somehow BUT creative cb2500 is giving me problems. not wire problems. but BT problems. my old BT headphones can work when i place the transmitter in my bag behind me and my headphones on my head of course, sound is ok but sometime breaks off the connection and resume again but not so frequent as compare to the creative. Initially i thought is old batteries, so i changed and still the same. I place the transmitter behind me in my bag, headphones on and i get frequent disconnection and no music. So horrible. BT signal interrupted by my big mass? why is it the old BT headphones dun have that much issues as this? Think creative has to work hard on the BT to prevent interruptions due to BT connection. work alot harder. meanwhile, dun buy this model. I cant comment on other models of creative on BT. but this cb2500, siam all the way.
  3. I have tried I-grado at Streo and no doubt its a good headphones. Just that the 2 wires running dwn from ea side is a deterrence to me. I m trying to get wires away thats y wanted bluetooth. Oic. but i want a neckband. And that time when I was there, you guys only have igrado. how about nokia or logitech or motorola bluetooth headsets? how isit? anyone tried?
  4. btw, my earphones is the normal panasonic earphones. cheap cheap kind. sorry, AKG K26P is wat brand? is it neckband design? i dun wan headband design. Thanks for clarifying in advance.
  5. Hi all, I went to Orchard Tangs and tested the PMX 100. Physical portion is ok. its band is not contoured to ur neck. its like a headband but put behind ur head. the clip at the ear is comfy. but sometimes interfere with my spectacles. i try to shake it ard and it stays on. not very tight till it crush my ears. Sound portion does not perform. cant compare to my earphones. its not heavy on bass. it did not have a gold-plated plug. i was told that this model is low on bass. i try it on my player with the same song and the bass really did not deliver compared to my earphones. So pmx 100 is out for me. Hope to try the creative sn.
  6. put in a case like those that can revolve around and the wires go around? wont that cause the wires to break or damaged? with wires ard me is very difficult to manuever esp when u got a backpack. tink i will try creative bluetooth headphones and see how it goes at comex and then decide.
  7. I was pointed out by my friend that even if i were to buy the CB2500 BT adapter, I would still face wire problems around my body when i have wired headphones plug in to my adapter. bt this is the only way to rely on BT and there will nvr be a battery problem as they uses AAA batteries and not chargeable. but i thought of keeping the wire short by circling it around something but scare that it will cause sound to be lost thru the soon to be damaged wires. My earphones experience is that the wires tend to give way more often than the earphone itself. any solution to my above problems on how to keep the wires properly?
  8. whoa whoa so technical...im a newbbssss. think im gog for creative bluetooth adapter set cb 2500 and getting a creative 140 neckband. reviews indicated gd bass. hehe. im a bass sucker. hehehe. anyone gotten the creative cb2500 audio adapter?
  9. Hi all, thanks for the replies. Heady, wats IEMs? and with specs, headband will be better? cos I dun like that to hug my head, and my hair will be in a mess. some neckbands i saw has thin bands ard the ear area and thick bands after that. maybe to facilitate wearing of the specs. Hi kehyi, Well i can give up some requirements. shall bug them. thanks. Hi Fuzzy, igrado so cheap? wah must go check it out. I saw a few people wearing those ear clips, i find that its ugly. not the wearer but the ear clips sticking out on ur ears. so maybe decided to let go of ear clips. My main aim is 1) neckbands 2) does not interferece with my specs 3) average sound 4) below $120 can give opinions on the below question i have posted in my previous post? "2) Would it be better to a) get a headphones with bluetooth built in that comes with a transmitter or get a bluetooth transmitter and receiver and with a wired headphones? What are the pros and cons?"
  10. Hi all, Would need your help since I am newbs to this headphone thingy. My current iCombi bluetooth wireless headphones was won from a contest in a local magazine. Guess what. The warranty is only available in Hong Kong. sigh. My neck band on both sides of the ear pieces broke. Had to mend it with paperclip and scotchtape. The sound is normal and meets my requirements and is foldable. That's what I like about it. Just that it's band is hard and easily breakable. Not those soft kind that can bend slightly. It's those rigid cheap plastic kind. So I would like to ask if there is any recommendations on the headphones in the market that is 1) neck band / earclips (strictly no overhead bands) 2) would not be tight and yet would not drop that easily 3) good sound. Not really very particular but a decent average quality is ok 4) budget is $120 5) bluetooth wireless Additional points 1) can use wired or wireless 2) foldable hopefully Is there such a headphone? Questions: 1) I am wearing specs so difficult to find 1 that can fit well with my specs. any pple wearing specs and have a good neckband to recommend? 2) Would it be better to a) get a headphones with bluetooth built in that comes with a transmitter or get a bluetooth transmitter and receiver and with a wired headphones? What are the pros and cons? a) seems to limit the type of headphones i can choose. have wider range for me to choose but still wired to the receiver which kinda defeat the purpose to have bluetooth if there is still wires dangling around you. Would still have to find a pouch or pocket to fit in the receiver. I am so confused and indecisive. Can anyone help? I saw a few models such as creative 140 which is only $29. lightweight and wired with good sounds based on reviews i read. Creative 3100 is out of my budget but is what I want. Some reviews indicated head pain after wearing which is quite true as I try on a while at creative HQ and its kinda tight. Is there any shop in SG that allows u to try a wide range of headphones before you buy? Igrado seems good but duno how much. philips and pansonic and sony do not have any that I like. Grados and Koss seems to be out of my budget. Not able to find any audio techincal products at their site as trhey are still upgradeing the site. sennheiser street style sucks. the rest are all overhead bands. Please assist.
