Hmmmm.... if thats the case. Could any one recommend a portable amp for me. I am currently using the Cowon D2 with shure e5c. no budget.

My advice is to try some before getting any portable amp for your D2. The output power of D2 is insanely high and there are some comments that when pairing the D2 with some amps like tomahawk,hornet, the result is almost the same, with very small change.

Thanks for the responses. Just a question for those using the D2, are you able to create multiple playlist (other than the dynamic playlist) using Windows Media Player or the included software on the cd?

Yes but when I tried with mine it stuck In addition, you have to install WM11 in order to use it.

Been thinking of getting a new earphone for some time, was looking at the shure e2c and ety er6i, any other good earphones in that price range?

I don't consider myself a bass lover, just moderate bass is good enough. Listen to r&b\jrock\jpop.

I'm using a HJE50 now, and i find the bass lacking.. but maybe thats cos im spoilt by my desktop speakers' bass.

If you think you are not a basshead, try the X3 or ER6i. Both of them have good details, and little bass.

Both EP630 and Mylars fit your 3rd requirement.

EP630 has bass quantity, but a bit muddy, low-detailed. The Mylar has good sound at low volume, nice details but lacks bass.

My recommendation is UE Super.fi 3 Studio. Just wonder if your friend likes its design or not.

Guys, sorry, just found out that the Hongkong/china market for PK2 only has J Cord. Do you still want to carry on with your orders? If die die want Y Cord, then we have to order from head-direct.com at a slightly higher price of SGD$79 against J Cord of SGD$67.75, meaning u have to fork out ard 11.25 more for a set with 3 months warranty.
