There are fake alps, sadly. Yours may most likely be fake. Alps are most famous for their blue box design. Most of their volume controls come with that design. Yours may not be a volume control or may be a fake volume control. Either way, you still can't use them, man. The alps volume control, used in audio is mainly blue box. If you want the best answer for this question, Frankie might be able to help you. He's the guy from Well Audio Lab which is in Burlington Square. Hi, please do not use anything to wipe the lens except for a camera lens blower. The problem lies in the circuit board. They go nuts after a while and result in clocking error. The music sometimes tend to skip and sometimes not. The track may also tend to play fast or slow sometimes.
