for toucan amp, the connector can be bought off RS or Farnell, cant remember which again, getting old so memory not too good.
thanks man ^__________________^ you're my saviour

Have you tried LHS located in SLT?
not yet, maybe i will. oh and i read somewhere that the protector 4 pin connector is proprietary of RSA.. not good news then..
-
The 4 pin male for protector and the 6 pin female for the ibass PB1 Toucan?
-
just make sure you dont choose too big awg or its gonna become a bother..
-
the cable braiding was made in this manner to facilitate more flexibility..making the braid too compact makes the cable too stiff overall in its outlook especially for a 26awg
-
Oh, that. Hmm, I hear shipping is a little on the high side, not prepared to shell out for an experiment yet.
Thanks =)
yup shipping is a little high, but it sure does beat the crap out of diy pins (in terms of looks and finish product)

WOW, LW3 with 3 more drivers?
The only thing that bothers me about the cable is the y-splitter. LOL. Looks so cheapo.
couldnt find a nice splitter ... but its actually neat and blends well with the cable
What cable is that? ALO SXC?
no, its TWSPC
Been seeing quite a few DIY cables for customs being shown in this forum, quite tempted to do my own.
Where do you guys find the small 2-pin connectors on the IEM side?
from hong kong

From the website
and in one instance a potential health hazard and regards to sound quality, its muddy, head nauseating sound signature would likely give you a headache after listening to 10minutes of your favourite rock music or trance musici think that answered your question..

Found a topic on comparing the custom TF10 and universal TF10 in other forum, seems like the custom will impact on the treble.
you could always do a add mid driver, it just costs a little more..
-
Too bad for those being scammed. I hope you are not one.
Well, still safe for me since I don't go for online order.
nope i didnt get scammed, i got mine 2 yrs ago..way before they started producing the fakes..
-
bad.. the counterfeiters have gone one step and produce the classic porta pros.. and are selling it under the guise of OEM products..
Dont get deceived...!!
http://www.koreanstown.com/2010/04/how-to-...fake-porta-pro/
especially those from ebays..!!
the pictures that they show you are stock pictures they got from somewhere, it is not what they are carrying!!
-
they are similar. TF10 is slightly more balanced and integrated from high to low.
but...it only takes me less than one minute to figure out that i could never wear the TF10 no matter how good it sounds. the comfort is a joke. for me, UE only makes sense when go to custom.
you're kidding right?
westone 3 and TF10 sound signatures are different in nature. although westone 3 would be more comfortable and easier to wear, i find TF10 sounds more neutral and balanced whereas westone 3 might sound a little warmer but it sounds muddy to me when it comes to bass
