Still got 1 year and 4 months of warranty left. Send it for repair as the right channel was softer than the left one. Was told that the E3c has been changed to a new one as it is still under warranty. Collecting the Shures tomorrow. Sellling for $200.

I'm also having the problem. Sigh, just e-mailed the supplier to post me the invoice. I'm enjoying the E4s more than my E3c. At least better bass.

Went to SLS to look for the E4c black but seems that it is hard to get one. When I read that quite a number of people bought online so decided to do the same. Furthermore it is cheaper online. By the way I only have a debit POSB Mastercard. So can you guys/gals out there recommend me which webby to go and order. Thanks

Got my Grados's 3 weeks back. Picked this over SR60 due to better bass as I usually listen to Pop/Rock music. After some time using this headphone, my ears hurt due to the bowl design. Currently on a tight budget so not planning to buy new pads. Suddenly I thought how does it feel if I reverse the bowl pads. To me it feels better as my ears does not hurt at all anymore and it certainly sounds the same. A better improvement at no cost involved! I'm not too sure about bigger ears as I guess my ears fits nicely inside the holes which is of average size.

What do you mean by lower power headphone driver? The power output? Foe my case I'm using Hi-MD and the power outpout is only 5mW per channel and I can safely say that it's more than enough for me to power my newly bought Grado SR80. Using this only in camp as I use my Shure E3c while on the move. Now my Shure's sounds so bad 'thanks' to Grados.

Is it advisable to buy these online? If so, will it be accepted for local warranty?

Hey... Even the Sony EX70 is waterproof. Accdentally left it in my pocket and when it dried out, it was still working perfectly. PS : My white EX70 just became 'whiter' after the machine wash.

As it seems, quite a number of us are using canal earphones. Usually I clean away the earwax every 2 days. For me I use wet tissue (called anti-bacterial wipes) to clean the silicon (I'm using Sony EX NUDE series). Was wondering what you guys or gals out there use to clean yours.

Really?! Was thinking of getting the Shure E3c. Any way how long is the warranty like. Local Sony has a pethatic 7 days warranty. Luckily my MDR-EX71 died after a year heavy usage.
