Selling an old Ultrasone Edition 9 Complete with original Box. As with Description the ear cups and cable are worn due to use but the headphone is working without issue. I originally planned to re-cable to a better cable but actually forgot to do it for sometime. Clearing stuff again.

I'm quite certain it's the amp. The HD800 through my Zana Deux SE is fabulous So much so that I regret selling mine (sold it before I got the Zana) and I'm saving up to buy it again

 

When both the HD800 and HD600 are driven by the Zana - absolutely no fight, the HD800 trounces the HD600 in ALL areas, even bass...

I believe we might be able to hear the T1 if Kds5000 gets the itch.

get yourself prepare to the Vinyl route, you need to,

start buying lots of LPs,

storage containers for LPs,

a Spirit Level,

Stylus Force Gauge,

long nose plier,

start shopping for TT, cartridges, phono amps.

after confirm the TT, get a MintLP protractor,

and lastly record cleaning machine when you hit more than 80LPs.

here you go, Nirvana is waiting.

Dun forget a small wooden stool, portable radio and lots of old but comfortable T-shirts and shorts so you can get down to washing ALL that dirty dirty LP in the kitchen/bathroom like a good kopitiam dishwasher!!!

Maybe that's why RSA came out with a NEW affordable phono?! Ain't that just fantastic timing? Looks like it's just meant to be. One of you favourite amp builders has just created a new phono for "you". Wld definitely be a match in heaven for your "American Indian".

Just to add

1) Audio basic @ Adelphi 2nd flr, sells the inamp. There is a Demo unit you can try. you can also visit Stereo at Plaza Singapura as they have a demo too.

3) In amp has a socket that lets you Roll OPamps. I beleieve the new/updated D1 is also socket type.

As for sound. I personally prefer the inamp for the HD800 (Sounds good on it, but the HD800 will shine on a larger and more powerful amp. i used my HD800 for a Demo). But the D1 sounds to have great synergy w/ the Audio technica W1000x and my ED9. But again this is subjective, it's actually great that the shops have a demo unit available. I don't really put much meat on reviews from the net when I buy equipment. =)

I remmeber my phone slipped from my hand to a sinkfilled w/ water. I had to dry out the out side but there were drips of water from the inside. I let it dry by leaving it for three days in my dry cabinet. I'm still using the phone now. =)

Yup, copy protection isn't really standard even on the SHM-CD. Ripping is the same as a normal D. The difference is really on the sound QUALIITY. I have one album in SHM and a US Press. The SHM quality is way different. =)

I'm firmly with MP3s, so not much point if I can't rip the tracks.

Might i suggest ripping them in Lossless format such as ALAC or FLAC. the difference is quite audible on good systems.
