If your main focus is on vocals and sound-stage I think Ortofon might be suitable for you. They are cheaper than the ie8 and they have better vocal performance than the ie8. From my experience with them,they perform extremely well with J-pop.

Is there a retailer here in Singapore that sells this? Is $200 enough to buy this as I seen 1 on ebay selling for roughly $140 SGD
