For your budget I would suggest you try out the esw9 or if you are interested in iem the Ortofons. No comment on the D2000 since I've not heard it.

Try jaben but I must warn you they aren't cheap. They cost even more than the JH customs.

The UM2s are way above your budget. For around 200 your best bet would be either the Westone 1s or the UM1. The ES7 are slightly over your budget but I did hear good things about them so maybe you can try them out?

It does have a spacious sound and quite possibly the largest sound-stage found on iem and their instrument separation is second to none but nothing stands out on the 13. It is quite simply the most neutral pair of headphones I have ever tried but you might want to re-think your options before you pull the trigger. As good as they might be spending a few thousand dollars on a pair of headphone is gonna hurt. Specs-wise, they are one of the best out there but some people might find them too neutral for their liking. If you like treble there are other option out there but I'm not sure whether you can get it in Singapore. UM the re-shelling company seems to have their own line of custom one of which is called Mage. From what I've read it seems to be good with treble and many people seems to like it. Live-wires are also another option to go for and they are relatively cheap for a custom so check those out as well.

CK100, CK10 and TF10 have some of the best treble found in universal IEMs. Be it details or extension, they are almost perfect in their own way. The er4 series seems to be great as well but I do not have the pleasure to try them. But the 13s are on another league when it comes to treble and in fact everything else. Extension and details are a few steps above the top 3 that I have mentioned and the way it is presented keep it from being bright unlike the ck100 and the ck10 and it is so smooth it is unbelievable. I find the treble on the TF10 to be a bit harsh just a bit but the 13 has none of that. It is my definition of the perfect treble presentation. Just to note, I did not have an amplifier(never will) during my audition so imagine what will happen when you pair them with a good amplifier.

I will admit I did not own any of the IEM mention above but I did have extensive listening period with both the TF10 and universal version of JH13. The TF10 is good by universal standards especially the treble and the rather spacious sound which is not found in most IEM but the demo version of the JH custom is another story. The best trait of the TF10 to me is it's treble detail and extension but that is nothing compared to the 13s. Custom TF10 would no doubt improve the sound but the same can be said with the 13s. My point is unlike the 13, the TF10 is designed to be a universal IEM not a custom where as the 13 is designed from scratch to be a custom so everything from the crossover to even the positioning of the driver has been done by custom standards. The TF10 can be made to custom to provide better fit which in turns contribute to better sound to ones ears but the crossover and the positioning of the driver is only designed by the researchers to match TF10 original shell and nothing else so no doubt they are good but they can't compete with customs by just re-shelling alone. More research need to be done before re-shelled universals can compete with the real deal.

TF10 re-shelled is just an universal IEM dressed as a custom they won't sound as good as true custom should but they are a cheaper and fun alternative. I've not tried the 16 but I did have a go with the 13 and the 11 and they are on a league of their own. Bottom line is go for the real deal if you got the cash or re-shell your TF10 if you don't. Re-shelling does improve your fit tremendously and with better fit they might sound better but they won't sound as good as or even close to the JH.

Is it sold in SG? Better than CK100 in every aspect seems a bit hard to believe but nevertheless it still caught my attention.

The difference between those 2 are like day and night. UM2 is design with stage monitoring in mind and the W3 are design for casual listening. UM2 sound-stage is almost none existence when compared with W3. I have a feeling the W2s have more in common with the W3s than UM2.

The lowest price for the um2 is around SGD428 and the price for the Westone 2 are well under 400. Don't judge headphones based on reviews alone. Your ears are your best friend when it comes to choosing which headphones is best for you so go try them out before pulling the trigger. Since you already saved up to $400 why not wait a bit more to get something better? Just my 2 cents.

UM2 has good bass impact and also good vocals but they suffer from treble roll-off and small soundstage and I don't think they can be had for under 400 now. No comments for the Westone 2 since I have not heard them. If you want more bass impact you can try the sf5p or eb which also cost under 400. If you want something with good vocals you can try the ck10 which has one of the best vocals currently on the market but they are a bit bass light. The ue700 excels in treble,size and comfort. But if you can stretch your budget by $60 you can have the Ortofon which is one of the best universal iem I've heard to date.

I'm using it with my n96 which isn't exactly an ideal player and it sounded wonderful. They are quite forgiving with low bit-rate songs and they do respond very well to EQ but the only thing they can't stand is bad recording. There is no doubt that an amp will improve its performance but if you are using it on the go like me, I don't see the need for the extra weight. When you go down and audition, you should also try out the Grado gr8 as well. They are using the same technology as the Ortofons and from what I can remember they do have good vocals. If memory serves me right they should cost about the same as the Ortofons. CK100 is also another contender but they cost a lot more than the e-Q7. If budget is not an issue you can head down to stereo and try them out, their treble extension is unrivaled but their mids isn't suited for everyone's taste. IMHO the e-Q7 is the best universal IEM money can buy to date.

Well think of it as TF10 but made in Japan . At $458 they are a better deal than ie8. Have you tried the 530s? If you have than that will you give you an idea of what the e-Q7 sounds like. Similar vocals but not as forward with better treble than the 530s and to my ears a larger sound-stage but that is to my ears of course.
