well getting im guessing some will copy odac with minor mods too hahahaThere is a fear of NwAvGuy that you can feel at most of the big forums. He casts a very long shadow.

seems value for money can super compactEverybody is getting into the act. FiiO, HRT, Audioengine, some others too.

Beats spam alert. Terrible quality product.

haha the junk was "fake beats" would be more appropriateI feel sorry for all the people who buy these fakes because of the price, but then if they got real beats they would pay twice as much and still have bad sound.

What junk was that
Spammer. Promotions should go in announcements for new product.

You can buy just the board I think which should be low cost.

a nice and quick review. btw have u tried the ODAC?I have not tried the ODAC but it looks very interesting, since I have the O2 now. I want to buy the Audioengine D1 DAC and headphone amp next, then get the ODAC after that if I have any money left. More headphones to buy also.
-
Here's my review of this nifty little DAC and headamp. It's a good basic upgrade to the computer's headphone jack.

'Poetry' you should be ashamed of promoting that junk.

Beats spam - it must be really sad to have to listen to these, and no, they are not beautiful.
-
It looks like Beats spam to me. Why would anyone "love" such a terrible headphone anyway?
-
I have the iphone connected to the istreamer and then the istreamer to the O2 amp, and no problem with that. So if the v-moda guys don't fix their problem it's going to be a big problem - that DAC/amp they have is $650 USD!!
-
I canceled my order BTW because one review said if you don't turn the phone service off you get interference, and it's really audible. So now I have the iStreamer for the iPhone and a Headstreamer on the way for the desktop. It's going to be interesting to see how they compare. Also thinking about a Audioengine D1.

Find the HD800 a little musical. Q701 is very precise. SRH1840 is a compromise between the HD800 and the Q701. However, if you are wearing it for extended hours, still prefer the Q701.The Shure 1840 wins all comfort contests for me, since it has the same feel as the HD800 but half the weight. I have not tried the Q701, though.

Anyone see this item yet? I ordered one through Amazon today. Expected end of June.

Utility means only the sound and function matters, not looks By the way, nice gears you have
Thanks. Funny you mention fashion. Maybe a year ago I would be strictly utility. But now the guys that make headphones are getting some good designs, so yeah, I'm on board with fashion for sure. But no Beats. Sound still comes first.

If you wear them in public they're a fashion statement even if you don't intend it to be. Utility I don't understand. Is that like listening to background music while gaming or cruising the Web?

Here's my text and video review of the new white M50.

Beats spammer below.

I did several lengthy google searches for digital eq, ipod eq, ipod digital eq etc., and all I find are vague claims - not a single one by Apple or on an Apple forum. In fact, the only definitive statement was made on a Wadia forum. It would seem from the google results that this is a "delete and do not discuss" verboten topic from Apple's point of view.
