there was still not enough light at the time and i did not want to use flash on them while they were hanging outside my shop
-
took these this morning before opening shop
climbing Sim Lim Square
i believe i was the only one there with a camera so u can say these shots were "exculsive"
-

Does changing the other settings within custom has any affect to the Tone comp.?u can still adjust the color mode, sharpening, saturation & hue in the custom mode, but the tone comp will remain the same curve that u uploaded into the camera
-
i like the guestbook & angel shot very much
-
yes N@Z
the custom curve only works when u set to "custom" on the D70
when u set other settings, it will be the same as the default, i leave my on custom

Rips, if you wish to submit your photographs, I can drop by your workplace and collect from you after my exams in early May. I need to get some supplies for my Digital Media lab in school. Hehe, if you don't mind you can be collection point for SGheadphonesRegarding the photographs. There should be no issue with the border, it need not be a borderless print to qualify. However what do you actually mean by cropped pictures ? As in non-standard image size ?
Thanks to all for your interest
no problem on the collection point thing
most of my photos hav been crop, no longer standard size, most of them are a little smaller then 8R
-
i see the top prize is your fav brand of camera will u be taking part too kenshinz?
some questions...the rules says we can submit 8R super 8R or A4 photos, what if my pictures are crop and there's a white border on the print, are we required to trim the prints if we can't get the max print size?

where are the japanese babes idkfa?

i set my WB to "direct sunlight" when i use flash
when indoor under fluoresent light, if the lighting is strong like in public places or MRT stations i set to "standard fluoresent"
at home or when the fluoresent is not as strong i use "fluoresent -1" to remove the blue cast
i've change the default curve to "midtone boost" after about a week of using the D70 this seems to "cure" the under exposure problems, i also usually shoot in 2 modes, i'll take a shot with A-mode then one more with manual mode with the shutter speed set to 1 or 2 stops slower then the A-mode

raining on my offday cannot go out to take pictures...so i went round the house to look for shots

how much does the 8x10 & 12x16 prints cost over there N@Z?
-
allows u to see the camera setting in the picture, its a simple .EXE file without need for installation, its also able to generate thumbnails and view Jpegs

Epson has better photo print results, Canons color don't look as "real"
i want the printer for enlarging prints, cause the lab charges $5 for 8R & $6 for super 8R, but 4R is only $0.35
10 pcs of 8R prints will cost me $50...a little more and i can get my own printer
-
any of u guys print out your shots?
i hav a few of my fav shots printed by a photo lab and the results were great, some of them actually look better on paper
going to get a new printer soon, maybe tomorrow...Epson C65 and mod with external ink tanks so i can print! print! print!

my contribution for today...not sure why i took this shot
blues, i like the Clifford Pier shot very much i hav seen another version of the same shot by someone call "LemonLogix" she has very creative photos on Treklens

Both have 2 inch lcd's and the D70s will have a wireless transmitter accessory or something like that and a wired shutter release cable.a wired shutter release cable means it can take the portrait grip without being modded and no need to use remote shutter trigger
