yea, im using grado sr80 ... the volume has to be turned till 11-1 as rameish has said ... i bought a pair of diy interconnects from lhs, sim lim tower. the sound is alot better than w/o amp. Im very pleased with it

I jus got this obh-11 amp from singnet classifieds, and i got this problem here ... cos my source is jus a panasonic disman, i cant connect it to the amp. I need something which can connect from my discman jack to the amp. bascially is 3.5"jack to RCA How ? i dont wan to compromise on the sound and get those from ntuc.... is there any good and ready made ones ?? thanks alot !

Im looking for vocals clarity and high mids. Isolation - i dont mind both types. Bass head - u mean bass ? average will do, i listen to jazz and some pop comfortable and fashionable is not really a factor to me. I have owned a pair of mx-500 before, and although the mids and bass are good, their vocals sucks in my opinion.

ic, cool ... hows the sound quality if u compared it with a pair of headphones , lets say grado sr-60 ?or headphones below $200. and where can i get this pair of earphones from ? cheers

after researching from several websites, i think i will go for a diy amp as it suits my budget better. So the problem is which amp should i go for ? I find the sr 80 abit too bright, i would like it to tone down a little, and vocals not loud enough. Any ideas ? many ppl recommended the CHA47, but will it really suits me ? cos i nv heard it before. Thanks

Im currently using Grado sr-80. I know its not a very good pair of headphones, but im quite pleased with it. But the problem i have is that i wan to improve on the vocals and clarity. Should i go for a headphone amp ? or should i buy a cdp. Recommendations please ... Im using it mainly for home use. My budget is ard 200-300 ? Im a student, so cant afford to spend too much, hope u guys understand
