    Services provided:
    • Modify your Fostex/Denon headphones to use removable/detachable cables with SMC* connectors.
    • Re-terminate the stock cable with SMC* connectors to use with the modded headphones.
    *SMC connectors were used by HiFiMan headphones.

    This is for modding your Sennheiser HD800 to tame the 6kHz peak. In effect turning your HD800 to be more like a HD800S, but without the bloated/distorted bass of the HD800S. Yours for $25.

    Singapore-based service:

    (1) Install sockets on your headphones to use removable cables.

    (2) Make new custom removable cables for your headphones.

    (3) Replace the stock cable on your headphones with new cable.

    (4) Re-terminate your existing headphone cable with new plugs (e.g. for use on another headphone or for balanced amplifier output)

    Made in Japan Oyaide SS-47 Silver Solder contains 4N (99.993%) pure tin. Furthermore, 4.7% silver and 1.7% copper are contained for the purpose of improvement of electric conductivity and durability.

     

    Price:

    Material cost plus service fee. Material cost is the actual cost of any parts (e.g. sockets, plugs, wires, etc) used. Service fee is based on complexity (e.g. soldering points, cable y-splits, sleeving, headphone cup modification, etc).

    Brand New in Sealed Box. This is in retail packaging. Tape seal on box is unbroken.

     

    Received from Ultimate Ears as promotional item. I kept this as a backup set. Now selling to fund another IEM purchase.
