Effective_audio 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) 2/17 : $195 offer will end in Feb. Free installation ($50) only in conjuction other mods done together. New price from March will be $250!! Some recent players upgraded with Burson clocks: Another Cambridge Audio 650C A music hall DAC with burson clock Marantz CD63 with burson clock and opamps. customer feedback:Customer Feedback: Thank you James for making my 63SE alive again! Is it just like falling in love with an old flame. Very musical! Thanks again! 3units of Marantz CD6003 with burson clocks and general upgrades! Customer feedbacks: "Impressive upgrades. After leaving the player on overnight for a few days, i decided to listen to some cd's. On one of the earlier pressings of ABBA gold, i was surprised that bass on many tracks had grown surprisingly punchy and had more authority. The vocals, sound stage and mid range had also improved quite a bit! On another one of my favorites, Dire Strait's Brothers in Arms XRCD, the sound was absolutely incredible! I'm sure that with time, it will even improve farther. Overall, the upgrades have made dramatic changes to my CD player and would recommend James to everyone who is thinking about upgrading their player. Its been very nice dealing with him. " from John, on CD6003 ----- After 20hrs of burn in the music is natural, musical, with good soundstage. Instrument separation is good. I love it!! I will let it burn in further. It will be very good. Thank you for your advise and appreciate the service your have provided. Thanks again. Very happy it improves so much! Albert on his CD6003 with Burson clock. Another Marantz CD63SE with burson Clock: Oppo 83SE with Burson Clock Customer feedback: When I first plugged my newly modded Oppo 83se, the details and lower noise floor was already evident. I was quite astounded with how the music has opened up with a sublime lift. However the bass seems to have receded and gone missing. After a few days of playing, I am happy to say the bass has snapped back into place. It's not as prominent as last time but the bass sounds focused and doesn't draw attention to it. I am also marveling at how all e sonic details have shimmered down making listening to music such a pleasurable experience. The best $395 I have spent and it made me revisit all my music because everything sounds like a piece of brand new music. Thanks James. I am very very happy. ---------- DPA 3 with burson clock and general upgrades: MC-3 with burson clock MSB Link DAC with burson clock and General upgrades Customer feedback:Wow it’s a huge difference, especially resolving the lower bass resolution! My wife is most impressed! Overall a very nice upgrade indeed. Thanks! Marantz SA8003 with burson clock and general upgrades Customer feedback: After the mods the soundstage has opened up wide. Very clearly defined bass and sweet highs. While listening to the 2nd track of Ray Brown Trios's live at the loa--summer wind album, I finally heard the phone ringing in the background that caused the audience to laugh. Always thought the bassist was doing some antics to make the people laugh. My SA8003 sounds really transparent and musical now. Now separation between different instruments is so clearly defined. No straining in the sound so I can play louder shouting at the listener. Definition is there even when playing softly. Cannot wait till it fully burns in!
