tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 thinking of using this buffer or the EL2001CN on my next project...any coments? the EL2001CN is 70mhz & the 2002CN is 180mhz , i think that is their biggest difference, but how much does the speed affect the sound price is $3 difference

tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2003 Are you building a meta? i'm planning mint meta with a better power section, similar to the Pimeta using 2 boards, 1 power section & 1 sinal section, this will giv me more space for the improved power section. signal side will be same as my mini monster, with the resistors going into the IC holder, more room for the 2 buffers this way, the whole thing should still fit into a mint tin. i just found out that the EL2002CN is discontined (RS & Farnell), ordered the BuF634 instead, i think still can get the EL2001CN though
