I've ripped a few cd tracks n plan to use dbpoweramp to convert it from 16bit 44.1khz to 24bit 96khz.... does it really help in improving details? also ,can i connect coaxial spdif to the line in/optical jack of my md recorder?for digital recording.. Tenson 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 I think it is caklled 'Upsampling' and many say it makes music sound more detaild and fluid. I couln't tell a bit of differance though! If you want your system to sound better get a better system. No mucking about with upsampling, EQing or anything will fix a poor system! I think you can get boxes that convert coax sp-dif to optical. But they cost a bit! Check out pro-audio distributers. I belive there is one by M-Audio called the Co2. I might remeber wrong though Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
