yongchris 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 E2s sound better than the mx500 if you're interested, I wrote a comprehensive review on the E2. but it'll take a little effort on your part to do a search and find it. It's somewhere in the portables forum.

ahgoh7 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 based on wat I have read, it seems that these earphones are uncomfortable ( wires behind ears) Going to get a iRiver Portable CD player soon, looking for a pair of decent earphones. Current ones i have SR80 and mx500
sigma 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 The behind-ears concept is well-executed and is really comfortable with my E3c, the E2c should be better because the wire doesn't leave the earphones perpendicularly. However, the flipside is that you can't use it in the conventional way.
yongchris 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I've fixed the wire-behind-the-ear problem. actually, got the idea from headfi. I got a crocodile clip thats meant to hold the wire of the handsfreeset of my office phone, used that to attach the cable to the back of my collar, and hey presto, the cables don't move anymore when I move my head. Also, I got my hands on a RA Clone (THANK YOU TROPICALRIPS!!!) and the E2s sound much much better. Am in the midst of writing a follow up review for them...
