richieleo 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 Hi guys, one side of the Shure E3Cs has no sound. Can it be serviced? I bought it from the US. So my questions are:- 1. Given the problem, can it be serviced? 2. Is the a place in Singapore that will service it? 3. Is it worth servicing? It's over a year old.
idkfa 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2005 Shure can replace them for you free in some circumstances. Worst cases, just pay US$50 for replacement. Have them sent to your dealer in singapore and ask for a replacement. Is it a natural malfunction? Go to them. Shure in my opinion, is the champion of aftersales. acidboy84 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2005 Really?! Was thinking of getting the Shure E3c. Any way how long is the warranty like. Local Sony has a pethatic 7 days warranty. Luckily my MDR-EX71 died after a year heavy usage.

idkfa 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 even after two years old, they still replace it for you if you talk to the sales rep "nicely" about them. Not sure of singapore's rep. But the japanese reps here are angels.
