headphones recommendation for ipod

Hi, i'm just wondering whether will this headphone (Sony MDRV500) be suitable for ipod?

 

 

 

 

The specs state that its impedance is 24 ohm, which is lesser than that of Grado SR-60. So am i right to say that it will consume less power from the iPod compared to the Grados?

The iPod should not have a problem driving the concerned cans. However, it's better to audition the pair together if the sound suits your palate.

But I have read somewhere that Ipod might not have enough power to drive them. Anyway, other than Sony Gallery, do u know of any other places where I can lay my hands on them?
