jig_sg 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) Looks interesting, very nice gatefold. How does it sound? Wah, only 2 tracks? Edited July 1, 2010 by jig_sg
Kachui 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) Yes, two very long tracks. Very experimental, I guess...not as polished as their later works. Sound good in some parts, not so good in others. It comes with a CD as well...wanna borrow? Edited July 2, 2010 by Kachui

Pretty expensive for a 2 track single but then that Pink Floyd for ya. Edited July 2, 2010 by jig_sg

kidult 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2010 The Colourfield were a British band formed in 1984 in Manchester. Virgins & Philistines their fist album released in 1984. It failed to gain a large audience due to difficulty in marketing an album with such a diverse sound - mixes 1960s and early 1970s pop music with more acoustic based melodies and string arrangements. However, the single release would be the one that would land them a high position on the charts. "Thinking of You" released in January 1985, made it to number 12 in the UK chart. kidult 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2010 http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:a2o7gjvrj6ic This was actually a Yes album consist of former Yes members from the band's "classic" 1970s period - due to contract issue, they are unable to use the Yes name, as the new group called themselves "Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe", or simply ABWH. I have totally forgotten this album. How good is it?

Have not listen to the whole album...a bit noisy from the first track so stopped playing...will give it a good listen after I have a chance to wash it.
