CDplayer comparison: Sony CDP-350 vs Sony CDP-M33

Hi all, would like to consult you guys on these two cd players.

Sony CDP-350 (1987?) and Sony CDP-M33 (1994?)

 

Have any of you previously owned any of these players? Please give me some feedback and what you think of these two players. Thanks, all!

Here's one but not on sound quality, features nor build. Have you made any enquiries with Sony Service Centre if laser pickup of these models are still available? No point buying a dodo knowning that it will go extinct on you. I reckon you are sending out feelers for these cdps as you intend to buy? Just a friendly reminder, my friend.

Hmm..well I dunno about the availability of laser pickups for those players...but the I have tested both sets and they are playing the cds quite well. No skipping or anything.

 

I do have the service manuals...dunno if they are of any use.

Give Sony center a call to check on laser pickup availability of these cdps. Of course they still play now but you can't guarantee they will remain so in the coming months or year. If parts are not available, the machine will have to be scrapped. Take heed.
