bummer 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Hey Gryhon, out of curiousity, what kind of recordings are your going to do? Ya, I agree recording on the soundblaster ain't that great. What sound card are u going to use for recording?
gryphon1972 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 guyferd: sure you can come to my house for some recording.....be prepared for ...hmmm...not so pro recording area.....only use some blankets for deader acoustics......and amateur recording engineer bummer: I am only recording mainly vocals, guitars and any instruments good enough for one condenser mic.....overdubbing is the main method.....just starting to pickup recording again.... The soundcard that is flying in from states is the midiman dman pci....pretty old generation of card....18 bit dac.....low cost. But should have enough headroom for most of my recordings. Recording on the soundblaster is not as bad as I imagine.....probably you need to download the kxproject drivers for your soundblaster.
