heady 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 I am looking for a MP3 player with good quality encoding using a line-in. Any one know of such a gadget? Will be using it to record sermons and teachings from a mic. Any info, especially model and price is appreciated. TIA.
Username 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 I know that Creative's Zen Nano's series, price can be obtain from their website. I have tried their earlier Muvo line and it works fine for recording speeches. A slightly higher budget will get you an MD with a mic in and a powered condenser mic, but the downside is that you cannot download it content into mp3 format. (I am not too sure about Sony's latest HiMD line)
heady 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 Thanks - the Zen Nano Plus do look good. Will check out price in SLS. Any idea if the encoding bit rate is changeable?
Username 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2006 (edited) I am not too sure about that. If you talk to the sound man about it, you can also tap the sound off his soundboard via the line in. Edited May 5, 2006 by Username
