A High Impedence Tweak for Portable Amps

Recommended Posts

I itchy handed plug my Ety ER4P - 4S cable (75ohm) from the iPod's audio out into the Go-Vibe amp and I think I noticed an increase in bass and the sound seems wider. Don't know if this is good or bad. Those who has a 75Ohm adaptor can try and feedback your impression.

Just use the PA235 :)

At maximum volume cut settings (which still lets the volume through FYI), the resistance is at 500 Ohms according to Shure.

The setback is, you never know what resistance you've set the resistor to unless you've marked specific points of the volume knob and measured them to be of a certain resistance :D
