info on igrado pls =)

hi all.. was thinking of getting a pair of headphones for a fren =) any comments on the px200 as compared to the pmx200 and the igrados?

could find some info on the senns, but not the igrados. wat do you all think? ^_^

hmmz.. was thinking that my fren would prefer sth to bring outdoors, rather that at home..that's why i could only think of the smallers headphones.. has anyone used the igrado before? or the pmx200? heard alot abt the px200..

For small size headphones you can try the following.

 

1. AKG K24P / AKG K26P / AKG K81DJ ( All headband)

2. Sennheiser PX100 / PX200 ( PMX series are neckband and PX are headband)

3. Audio Technica ATH-SJ3 / ATH ES3 ( both headband)

4. Panasonic RP-HTX7 (retro looking headband)

5. Koss KCS55 ( Neck band) / Portapro ( headband)

6. iGrado (neckband)

 

As for which is more suitable for your friend, I would suggest he/she try them first.

I only have the Xenos, for more options you can try Jaben.

The Xenos REP not bad. I bought it last year and the sound coming from it just keep getting better. However, its slightly more bassy. Go give it a try!!

hmmz..at $129 it does sound quite attractive :think:

thanks for the recommendations! ill try dig up some cash and go check it out =)

 

dun mind if i sidetrack a little but.. do IEMs need portable amps? will it make a diff?

heh..i'm still trying to learn more..haha.. quite new to the audiophile scene..
