XM5 Amp BULGES with stuff, including DAC

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone... Practical Devices Corporation has released the XM5 Portable headphone amp. AFAIK, this amp represents the most features ever squeezed into a portable. Strong, clean, smooth, unsurpassed sound quality is made possible by the XM5's four-chip amp/buffer system: a two-chip ultra-low-distortion FET amplification stage, mated to separate two-chip output buffering, all in a monoblock configuration. The four gold-plated sockets allow for rolling amp chips and/or output buffers to exactly suit your taste. Available in two colors: black/black, or blue/silver.

We're pretty excited about this amp - it really does have a lot to offer.
