blackmouth0 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 for rock and metal music? hmmm, sometime with bassy sound you looking for? why not try the UE 3 studio? good in bass, a couple of review on it. UM1 will lack of some bass. But fore movie, hmmm, not so such abt the "cinematic" feel, but if you used it to watch moive, the vocal, the speech part will be nice ba. ANyway, UM1 fitting is very good! Cant try at Stereo? they have a demo
Guest dragonboy Report post Posted November 19, 2008 (edited) I wouldn't recommend the UM-1 for rock or bass. The UM1 might probably be one of the most comfortable earphones I've ever used other than my new ACS customs. You could try the UE superfi 3studio... more bass punch and much more wider soudstage. I think this might fit you better. But for fitting-wise, I'll suggest you to try them out first. I do have some problems feeling comfortable with the UEs. Stereo at causeway point would be a good place to try them out since they have a wide range of demo. But don't stay there for too long. The poison there is super strong!
