piguren 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 Hi all, I've recently read on the net that using an ASIO plug-in for foobar will increase the quality of the music produced. I've tried it out and somehow it seems to sound better. But I dunno whether if it's xin li zuo yong... Haha. Can anyone explain to me what ASIO does? Also, I've read on certain sites to use the Stereo to 4 Channels DSP... Is this advisable? Personally, I've tried it out but I find that although the sound is abit clearer, it feels more artificial... Would like to know other opinions on this matter haha. I don't know about the stereo to 4 channel DSP thing, but why you need a 4 channel output? Unless your system really has 4 output channels, I don't think there's any point.
