need help to choose either sein hd 555 or denon 1001

hi gurus..i know u all think the denon is a very gd guy...but comparing both of them..which one is better?i gotta buy it real soon already for a gift..thks..the receipient is a bass sucker..

For bass, Denon is the winner.

D1001 actually does not sound like typical Denons. For this case I would get the HD555, but do note it's an open can and actually quite big. Unsuitable for portable use unlike the D1001 which is smaller.

For bass... I'll go for the Denon 1001.

i used to own a d1001 briefly and i've auditioned the hd555 quite a while back. think the d1001 will be a much suitable gift for your friend as compared to the hd555.
