I've got a mint EMMELINE XP 7 for sale . It is without power pack , comes with 2 non std. opa amps ( ad797 + ad8610 the best matches for her ) , 1 mini--->2rca good quality cable . It's a semi portable amp , very close to the Emmeline hr-2 in sound , op amp rolling capability for changing the sound , good match for senn hd650 and various akg's. . how the hp890 sound ? are detailed or not ? my arriving in a couple of day ..do they close up to other cans ? k501 + bass ? some senn ? I'm curious

Model is : SONY D-311 Functionality is: Perfect . Aestetichs : very good ( not perfect ) . Comes without power supply (a std. 6v p.adaptor woks fine ) and without sony BP5 battery . Comes with extra battery pack for AAA batteries ( as shown in image )

They sound medium-light weight but i think they're also similar to dt990 as sound signature - bass is surely not as overwhelming as is on the dt990 , but definitely the bass to mid bass frq. is there ( for sure it's not flat and controlled as is with the dt880 ) They 're tonal balanced and a little on the bright side and they sound good paired with burr brown op amp . Pair also very well with warm hp out of pdcps . I'd say I've been quite happy having these hp with me My mod : to distance the drivers from the ears : I've filled the under-pads chambers contour with a soft material , in order to thick it and to stay more far from ears . Also I've enlarged the headband keeping it very stretched for 2 days , so that i can wear them without noticing them around my ears now . Last word to say : comfort is great .

so you say cd3k are beaten overall by dt880 ?

Sennheiser px100 collapsible stylish open headphones on left . Akg k401 on right ( 95% sound of Akg k501 ; they share same drivers , same design but have different building materials ) I am selling these two cans , mint-as new conditions , asking 120$ for both . The two comes in their boxes , having 1 hour of listening the px100 , 5 hours of listening the k401 .
