Just wanted to wish all fellow anime otakus a very merry christmas and a happy new year! (Ye, I know it's early, but what the heck! ) And also, I know it's been out for a while but it's worth mentioning again... Hikaru no Go, great series. Kiddy Grade, Prince of Tennis, Hajime no Ippo, Great Teacher Onizuka, Kenshin OVA1, Blue Gender, GunGrave, Mahoromatic S1+S2, Saishuuheiki Kanojo, RahXephon, Fruits Basket..... Oh well, maybe too many They're in no specific order, just mentioned a few I got to think of.. and AFAIK they're all completed except for Prince of Tennis which still airs in japan, think they're up to ep 130/131 or something, A-O have done 115 so far. What's this NGE renewal/remaster/director's cut? Think I've seen the older versions, so what's all the fuss? Are the series worth watching over again just because of some slight changes or have they actually done some major changes to produce better overall quality? 5.1 surround for instance.....

Regarding Initial D, I think they've done a great job bringing the series to the 4th stage. Animation and CG is just rock solid, and so's the music. Anime-otakus' gonna release a batch with like 10-15 episodes or something covering Seigaku's "battle" against Rikkadai. Will love to see those eps.....really!

For those of you who like(d) the series Initial D I must recommend watching the 4th stage of the series. 2 episodes have been released so far and another 12 are scheduled to be released within one year or so. I also watched Kiddy Grade recently. One may think it's nothing special except for great animation, but actually it developed into something quite good about halfways through. I'm totally into the Sci-Fi genre of anime now so Crest of the Stars will be my next anime to watch.

Hiya dear anime lovers! :] A tad late to the thread maybe? Sure is, but I do enjoy anime nonetheless! Haven't seen any series for a while now, altho I am following Prince of Tennis (great, addicting series!) and looking forward to 4th stage of Initial D, which will hopefully be released soon(?) Any of you seen Hajime no Ippo btw? Awesome series, decent soundtrack and alot of tension :] Pick it up if you have the chance and if you by chance like boxing or sports animes.
