Yup... The mod is done. Using the LM4562 and Blackgate NX 25v 1000uF cap. The sound together with my DIY amp is MUCH better now....
-
Where do I find Blackgates locally....
-
Ok here goes.....I am not a pro but a beginner. I have tried the Amp and I must say I am very pleased with the result. I asked for alot of power and bass and its exactly what I got. Considering my Headphones are a pair of Beyer DT-770pro, the sound is crisp, powerful, bassy. The Amp looks great too, very nice and professionally done. Thanx "digi01" !!!

Got the Amp few days back but have been VERY with work lately. Will post a "verdict" soon
-
Guys....I am still waiting for the Amp to arrive
-
My god.....the amp components are...... Circuit designed by himself ! Very Impressive !

Any idea on prices for the Sony cans? And am i right though to say that these are more of studio headphones than portable ones? Cuz I've used the V6s before and i think that carrying them to school everyday would be a problem..No doubt they sound good though May as well get Beyer DT-770pro for Super Bass $424 if I am not mistaken @ Sim Lim 3rd floor jus after escalator --> Hung Brothers

Enough output from MP3 player for headphones?
Afterburner replied to peekarwe's topic in Portable Audio
I cant imagine for my DT-770pro @ 250 ohms the power required to power them. No MP3 player alone will eva have enuf power to drive these "Bass Heaven Cans" me guess -
Is it suitable for the Beyer - DT770pro
