  1. Go-vibe looks pretty interesting to me.
  2. 5380 is the total mileage, while 503.0 is the mileage for the current trip. I think.
  3. Well, they're not looking just for talented singing, though that's important In the end, it's fair, because it's the audience who votes.

  5. Reviews: http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42187 http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=87109 (ATH-CM7, a brother of the CM5's). Not very well-known It supposedly sounds like the Sony MDR-E888.
  6. How much was it? You ordered directly from his site?
  7. The EX-71 doesn't sit as deep inside the ear canal and does not isolate as much as the "true" canal-phones (Shure, Etymotic, etc). I suppose they can be called canal-phones if you wish. The Sharp MD33 and Panasonic RP-HJE50 fall into this category too.
  8. AFAIK it does. http://www.8flags.com.sg/ I think students from other tertiary institutions qualify for this offer too.
  9. Sony MDR-EX71. Lots of bass, obviously. But quite muddy and not clear. It's good if you like bass, and provides a tad of isolation too. Goes in white too to match your iPod. It goes for around $70.

Depends on: what amp you choose to do the components and features you want how many mistakes you make how cheaply you can get the components who does the DIY (yourself=free ) cost of procurement of equipment (if you DIY and don't already have it)
  11. Ask around here, I'm sure some SGHers can make one for you.
  12. Check the previous threads when the guys made CMOYs. Plenty of useful information there, since you'll probably want to build a CMOY if you're starting out. This site is useful too [link]
  13. The Emmeline amps can be found at this site: http://www.raysamuelsaudio.com/index2.html I suppose the XP-7 and SR-71 are portable. It's easier to decide on which pair of cans you want first, rather than buying the amp first. I think you can get some members here to do a DIY amp for you, if they have the time. BTW: like what Rameish said, why do you need a portable amp to drive full-size cans? Surely you're not going to wear them on the street
  14. How does the KSC-75 sound? Anyone heard it yet? BTW does any shop in Singapore sell Koss products?
  15. This says $520 at Hung Bros.
  16. 1. Foamies isolate more noise, fit the best, but tend to absorb some of the sound (do you guys feel this too?). The soft flex sleeves lose some of the bass of the E3, but they don't have that much bass anyway They are also more comfortable and convenient than the foamies. And reusable too. 2. Yes, they isolate just about enough. More would have been better, though. 3. Yes, all E1/E3/E5 sleeves are interchangeable. 4. Wailian, Hung Bros??
  17. MX500 is around $30-$35, KSC-55 has been reported to cost $45.
  18. Right. It's already half the price of the canalphones
  19. What sort of music do you listen to? Earbuds -Sony MDR-EX71 -Sharp MD33 -Audio Technica ATH-CM5 -Sennheiser MX500 -Panasonic RP-HJE50 Headband -Sennheiser PX100 Behind-the-neck -KOSS KSC 55 Clipon -KOSS KSC 50 It's up to you; what do you want and like?
  20. This is the reply I got when I asked Sensaphonics: Audiologist anyone?
  21. Go to FotoPic then. 250 MB of storage and a fairly liberal bandwidth allowance. Hotlinking allowed. However some photos are subject to checks by the site.
  22. ImageShack perhaps. Or if you don't mind paying a little, get a paid plan with Pbase or Smugmug. US$30/year gets you unlimited storage and 2GB bandwidth per month with the latter.
  23. Yup. Why doesn't Shure just include it in the package Is it Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd?
  24. Did you manage to get it in the end? Interested in it too.
