I am no amp expert. LOL Rather one who jumps on the bandwagon on cans instead. I've had my fair share of auditioning amps here but I have not come across the Triangle amps yet, at least not in tokyo. But are they the makers that make the speakers? Or you talking about some circuitry designs?? I have no idea about them seriously.

Btw Stereo_ele, I understand that you are working in an Audio based company, but are you also "siao" about audio stuffs?? I'm really trying to get past the idea that I am replying to an audio dealer. Sounds weird. LOL.

was at Stereo yesterday and thought i saw some audio technica cm7ti earphones on display. took a close look and realised the brand is Saiyo. the design is totally the same as the cm7ti, but i think the sound quality must be damn horrible. this Saiyo also got copy those ipod earphones design. they copy so many designs, not afraid of bein sued?

I don't worry about being sued by apple cos they always forget to patent their products. lol

Looks smashing! How long did the entire meetup last? Did anyone buy anything from AA?

I hate to be a spoiler but this amp is is not worth the money. It's very small and felt "cheap" when I tested it months ago. Don't ask me to do a detailed comparison because I'm don't think this amp deserves a considertion when better amps could be gotten at USD$60++.

There was a time when a chinese maker of an amp was involved in a review of it's own product on head-fi. I'm sure some knew about it. It was kinda not pretty.

Let me give you one good advice if you really consider Macs cos of the appeal.

iBooks are a pain to maintain. exterior wise. You will be surprised at the no. of stuffs they sell out there for keeping that surface smooth and white. Once u kena THAT scratch, it's game over. lol.

Buying ram from applestore is pretty expensive. You can get third party vendors to upgrade them for you or you can do it yourself. Can save a little with it. Did you ask for the student/academic discount price? That's another $150~ off I think.

A 1.5GHz Vs 1.33GHz Cpu doensn't make that much of a difference ya? Unless you are talking G5 Vs G4.

If you don't need to do layout and designs, a 12inch screen is good enough for photoshop.

Unless you are deep into digital imaging and heavy retouching... You should be looking at powerbooks. But that's out of the point.

If it's just digital images(8megapix images + average 10 PSD layers), a 12inch screen and with an ibook G4 processor is more than enough. Just spend the extra on the Harddisk AND get a decent mouse. (I know a design creative director who carries his 12inch ibook everywhere, and even does all his design layouts with it. Even presentations on it)

For portability, 12inch is the simply the best. It's really very portable.

If you are doing lots of photoshop, get a bigger harddrive for scratch disk space. 1Gb ram is good if you can afford but not that much difference from 512Mb. It'll be good for multi-tasking between photoshop and maybe illustrator.

The real notable difference is definitely a large harddisk upgrade. If internal HD upgrade is expensive, get an external HD instead.

Nothing different within the mac and pc OS for photoshop. Just the ctrl key for pc and option/command key for mac.

But you are already shipping from china isn't it? Can you tell me where you are shipping from?

It should be cheaper or similar considering how close tokyo is to china.

This is really a intelligent Sci-Fi movie in the likes of Donnie Darko, Momento, 13th floor and perhaps Blade Runner-ish. Dark, grainy and pretty gripping. Makes The Matrix look weak. Those who frequent EZvideo might be able to get them I think.

Honestly speaking, reviewing and A/B-ing cables for me simply isn't as easy as comparing the grado with the senns. I can't comment much on audio quality cos firstly I dun have much cables to play with. Even when compared with my cheap daiyo cables, I couldn't tell right away. I am not in that stage where I can tell copper from silver yet. But I can sure tell you abt woodie & plastic. LOL.

Someone buy it and evaluate the cable pls? Built wise is as what you see with the attached visual.
