It doesn't apply for the E500's. I had to ship my GS-1000's to my US address the other time because Todd couldn't ship it overseas...

I bought alot of stuff from Todd. And I know that guy pretty well. So reliability isn't the issue. And no, I don't need to use Vpost either. I've got a house over at the states and some relatives living there as well so I'll have them ship it to me...No need to worry about Vpost stuff...That's how I got my GS-1000's. But the problem is whether Todd would be accepting international orders shipped within the CONUSA...Cause Shure seems to have a tight control over where thier product goes...

Yeah...But I hoped that retailers here can do something about shure prices though...It seems that no matter how online companies try to kerb the sales of shures overseas, there will always be a way out as the much cheaper prices online are hard to resist...Its really way too overpriced in Singapore...

I remember bringing a PS2 with four controllers and an album load of games on my trip to Hong Kong. My friends and i spend the day sight-seeing, shopping, having fun and the night gaming...Pretty cool but a bad decision at the same time...I will never ever bring the console abroad again...Its a hassle to carry...

Yeah, but I did some reconsiderations and decided to hold on for a little while. The fact that its got even more bass than the GS-1000's kinda irks me...Cause I felt that the GS-1000's had more than enough bass quantity already. What's more is that the $2500 price tag isn't quite justifiable for a Grado phone albeit its metal cups and leather bands...I've gone through the HF-1 and GS-1000's to realise that...Not that I'am criticising them Grados but just stating a point. I've got the W5000's and Shure E500 on my list now and am deciding on them instead...

Its quite alot bigger than the SR225 for sure...On photos, they look big but they look even larger in life...

But seriously, the GS-1000 does sound decent enough out of the Ipod. In fact, its wonderful most of the times...I'am just too lazy to lug an amp around...

Its called flavour of the month...Its a term from headfi...Where some new cans get rave reviews or extra attention and everyone starts pouring in on how good they sound and stuff like that...

I sense FOTM here...I mean, how mind blowing can the sound be...I listen to it everyday and it doesn't seem to blow me away. Yeah, it sounds good and stuff like that but not to the point of addiction...FOTM warning.....

OMG!!!!! You guys!!!!!! I was talking to the D2R2 for like 10+ mins and was thinking why was there such a strange guy like that on SGheadphones...Until I came upon this thread...That thing wasn't making any sense and I actually tried to make it talk sense without realising its a program...Silly me...

Hmmm...I guess I'll not bother Todd to send me the boxes that he promised then...I'am happy with my boxless GS-1000's at the moment...
