Thxs for suggestion Rameish, Will be using this H-890 for Computer purposes like ( Movies, MP3 & Games ). The problem is that it work and sounded good as it should be in my Sony FM/AM Walkman but not through my line out ( Front L/R ) of my Computer Soundcard ( Philips AE ). Was wondering what was inside my Sony FM that boost out the music as it should be.

thxs for the hlp. Nope, check that part. Even enable Headphone in M$ Multimedia setting also like mono. Guess CMI. Not enough power!
-
Just plug the 890 into my Sony Portable FM stereo, I can feel the "WoW" factor and the clarity. The bass have more punch and much power then plugging it into Soundcard. Why is this so? Did I miss something? Is just like listening to mono in the soundcard.

Okie thxs, will check with Firefox. Btw, pardon my ignorance. What's a cmoy ? This 890 sounded like mono to me instead of stereo.

Hey Ablaze, Raffles its at 8, Jln Kilang Timor #02-02 Kewalram Hse. You can look for Alvin ( friendly saleman ), he quoted at $70 after bargaining from it's price tag of $81. The place is actually a warehouse off Bukit Merah after Canon Showroom.

Thxs for valueable recommendation. I have read & notice that this pair of Philips 890 has big bass. Should I get Klotz ( detailed sound) to balance out the music? May I know the exact model of Klotz cable to go with it? TIA

Hey all, I am new here and I just got myself a new Philips HP890. I wonder what would be a good replacement cable for the stock Philips's headphone cable and should I replace the stock plugs connected to the cable too? Btw, I noticed the plug to the HP are rather smaller then the normal mini stereo plug, can it be replaceable by buying a better ones, if so what plugs do you recommend? TIA rgds
