At least the next time they hold another terrorist attack exercise on the mrt, she'll know. -
I've just check with Sennheiser Asia and it seems that CX-300 may take longer than expected to reach. Will let you guys know once the CX-300 is officially available. Ah dui: I'll have to recommend you the Creative EP-630 by default since the CX-300 is not available yet.

Haiz.... I must be getting old, generation gap. Anyway, let's get back to the main topic.

Can you imagine everyone in these forum use nicks like papayo86 or payoya86...... worst, they use papaya86 in other forums flaming everyone? You might not like it, not to mention big cable manufacturers like Monster. Join Creative marketing dept and name the new mp3 player "The Ipod"...... and wait for Apple to sue you upside down. If you don't like Monster products, don't use them.

Sennheiser CX 300 Ear-Canal Headphone Sennheiser Electronic, has introduced the new CX 300, its first consumer “ear-canal†headphones. Tailored both for portable music devices such as Apple Computer’s enormously popular iPod™ family, and for the ever-expanding galaxy of portable media sources that incorporate gaming as well as simple music-listening functions, the new Sennheiser CX 300 sets the standards for noise isolation, quality, and performance. The Sennheiser CX 300 ear-canal phones will be available January 2005, at Sennheiser’s suggested retail price of US$49.95. The CX 300 employs an advanced, miniaturized driver Sennheiser tailored for smooth, acoustically correct in-ear operation; this provides the CX 300 with an extended response (18 Hz- 21 kHz) for satisfying musical detail and impressive yet defined bass. Equally important, the new Sennheiser design promotes superb comfort as well. The CX 300 is supplied with three different sized ear adapters in soft, silicone rubber that ensure long-term comfort for every wearer, as well as the excellent in-ear seal necessary both for ambient-noise reduction and deep-bass reproduction. The CX300 also incorporates an ergonomically asymmetrical, light but strong cable and arrives with a set of plug adapters. With classic, clean-looking visuals and a choice of black or silver finish, the Sennheiser CX 300 design will complement even the most futuristic, or most understated, of today’s wide-ranging portable media equipment. As with all Sennheiser consumer products, the CX300 enjoy a comprehensive, industry standard setting, 2–year warranty. Which brands would you like to see?
Stereo_Electronics replied to Stereo_Electronics's topic in Portable Audio
I'd say the market for them in Singapore is almost non-existent. You can try putting up a poll aasking people how much their willing to spend on a decent amplifier for their headphones and I bet you most of the responses will be in the 50 to 100 dollar range. Compare and contrast head-fi and this forum and you'll see the huge difference between our market and theirs. Unless you can find something really decent for less than $100, don't bother. I can't agree more. -

I'll look into Westone for sure, but have to make sure its cheaper locally if not its another Shure...... Headphone stand will be look into too. Headphone amplifier business is difficult in Singapore..... but will consider. -

Approached Peak Fusion regarding Beyerdynamic headphones and microphones, but due to some business reasons we cannot come to an agreement, I have decided to put Beyerdynamic on hold till further notice. -

In regard to Creative EP-630, I have already check with them and still waiting for their response, might require a huge order...... god bless me. We approach Ultimate Ears Nov 2005 but unfortunately they aren't keen to have a Singapore distributor. -

Read the bottom of my message, at the last line. -
What other brands or models of headphone or earphones would you like us to stock other than our existing collections available? No promises that we can get whatever you want but, we'll definitely look into it if it's possible.
